I was a Posse Foundation Finalist, a four-year, full-tuition leadership scaholsrhip for public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential, for Brandeis University. Though I was not a Posse Scholar, I was able to attend Brandeis through the generous Brandeis Family and Friends Scholarship and the Aaron Thal Endowed Scholarship.

During my freshman year I started my business degree while exploring other majors. I got involved with various student clubs like Mountain Club, HerCampus Brandeis, Cooking Club, etc. I got really involved as a writer for HerCampus Brandeis and focused my writing on a series called "Breaking Out of the Brandeis Bubble", which offered advice on exciting events and weekend trips to do off campus.

I interned between Zoo Atlanta and Cobb Chamber of Commerce. At Zoo Atlanta, I was the prospect research and donor relations intern and at Cobb, I was the membership development intern. I provided day to day administration support to the entire advancement/development team. For example, I fundraised prizes, which helped maintain the Chamber's main function to invest in our local businesses and community.

I started my CS major. I obtained a RA position as a 3D modeler and programmer. I was the Sponsorship Chair for ECAASU Boston 2015: New Asian American hosted at Harvard University, which attracted over 1200 attendees nationwide. I worked with the Finance co-directors and managed a team of 6 to make sure our sponsorships and registration revenue was enough to offset the cost of the event.

I was the business management intern at Holiday's Fashion Industrial Co., LTD, directly assisting the CEO. I learned the ins and outs of the business, attended design meetings, and a trade show for Dollar Tree in Hong Kong. This unique internship offered prospective into how a large retailer works with merchandise vendors.

I traveled to 20 European countries. I wrote about my experience as part of a work-study program to fund my expenses. I became part of a startup, Headfirst.io. I was the website manager for Cypraea Magazine, a online magazine for Brandeis International Business School students to exhibit their written work covering Economics, Business, and Finance. I got introductory certifications in project management and SQL.

I planned a budget friendly trip with 3 other family members across various cities in France, Italy, and Switzerland. My favorite towns/cities were Horgen (Switzerland), Cinque Terre (Italy), and Marseille (France). One picture taken in Cinque Terre is on the Brandeis Wander Magazine's 10th issue front cover.

I cross-registered for one course at Boston University in the fall and for one course at Olin College of Engineering in the spring. I took an online graduate level course at Brandeis in the spring. I completed an independent studies project with Prof. Hickey in the CS department. I learned to be a better writer through one of my favorite courses, Opinion Writing taught by Prof. McNamara, who won a Pulitzer prize for commentary.
